review 1: Det. DD Warren was at a crime scene alone and that's it. She doesn't remember why she was there, falling down the stairs or discharging her weapon. Six weeks later another murder with the same details and DD does her best to consult on the case because it is linked to the first murder where DD was injured. DD finds that a killer with the same method has been dead for 40 years, his daughter locked behind bars for 30 years but somehow they are connected to this case.
review 2: I would rate this book between 3.5 and 4.0 stars. It is a compelling psychological thriller which captured my attention and (for the most part) kept me engaged up to the climax. I felt the author at times got bogged down in unnecessary details (IMO) and slowing down the pace. While tha... moret may have been the author's intention, I prefer to keep the suspense going full force. "Fear Nothing" would make an awesome movie! less
