review 1: I wasn't sure what to expect out of this book at first to be honest. I picked it up only because it was on the bargain books at Barnes and Noble. At first I wasn't sure I was going to get into it, however after the first couple of chapters I found the book hard to put down. The characters holding their own and the love story. This isn't my typical book read, but I am so glad I picked this book up. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next between the characters.
review 2: Small town. Scandal. Marriage. Divorce. More Marriage. More Scandal. This book has all the fixings and more and more of a Mary Kay Andrews read, with a protagonist so poignant to make it the favorite of hers that I've read to date. I've been on an Andrews kick to the near-point I ... morethought I'd figured out her twists and turns. And while I rightfully predicted a few kickers here, there was one that my imagination simply couldn't create before I turned the pages.
