review 1: I liked this book for the happy conversations between the friends and the light content. Girl talk. The thought of renting a beach house for a month and enjoying the sea turtles was fun. Each woman has her own story line. The woman who narrated the audiobook made all the women have an individual sound. Happy endings are a big bonus. They all try really hard to be wonderful to each other and supportive. It's nice light reading. I didn't like Ellis' ending. Maybe it's just me, but why does she have to marry the guy right off?
review 2: I've enjoyed all of Ms. Andrews' books that I've read, or in this case listened to. It's definitely chick lit, but fun with a distinctly southern vibe. It doesn't hurt that I've been to Nag's Head, but am more familiar
... morewith Topsail Island, both part of North Carolina's Outer Banks. I'm not sure how explicit the sex is since I skip to the next track when things get steamy. I don't especially approve of the characters' modern attitudes toward sex, but I still found them likeable. I did wonder how well the central romantic relationship in the story would work out long term. less

This was fine, fun, and free. Good enough to pass the time.
