review 1: This book really surprised me. I had bought it on my Kindle a while ago and never read it until recently. Let me just say that this book was so suspenseful from start to finish. You feel like your watching a movie when your reading it and I don't know about anyone else but the ending was one big "I didn't see that coming!" moment. I really loved it. I didn't realize that this book is number 6 in the Joe McLaughlin series... I might have to look into the preceding ones!
review 2: I've gone gaga over this author, as I occasionally do. His characters are so human, so candid about their flaws, just as we all are in the conversations we have in our heads. I'm about 50% comp,ete on my next novel which is about a guy who cant find a real woman to love and who falls in... more love with a fictional character. I'm on hold because reading people like Robotham is helping me visualize stronger characters. less
