review 1: Despite all the weird and dirty parts of Archangel's Consort, it was actually good. The conflict is never clear, but you know it is obviously against an archangel, whether he or she is Michaela or Raphael's long lost (and possibly dead) mother. There isn't as much humor as the previous books. That is a sore point, but it does help the growth of the book as a series.Elena isn't annoying at all. Yeah, the girl has angel wings, but she does try. She may be an immortal with a mortal heart, but it makes the book even more interesting. I can tell you that she doesn't talk as much, mostly because the point of views are usually from Raphael instead of her. The POVs are shifting to him.Raphael is... Eh? He seems to be a bit sweeter than usual, but he is nothing like Castiel. Honestl... morey, I'm trying to figure out if this book is based on the angels from the books (religious books) or just something made up by the author. And there is going to be insane people/vampires/angels as usual.Rating: Three out of Five
review 2: Elena is still working to perfect the flight and landing while still wanting to protect the love she has with Raphael, archangel of New York. When there is a new threat, its hard to determine if it is Elena or Raphael that it is directed at. But soon that is clarified and that only makes Raphael even more angry. There is a presence in the air that speaks of the past and an old one returning. Is this all smoke and mirrors or is the possibility going to become reality?Singh has giving us another out of this world read with Angels, hunters, vamps and humans less
