review 1: Loved this book. It kept me reading compulsively. It's a few years old but a good find. I appreciated the authors' (there are two of them) ability to tell a fairly preposterous story in a way that it did!'t matter if I thought it was ridiculous. That's what a good suspense novel is often about: the story, actions and characters. Plot holes? Sure, but I didn't care. I mean, no identical twin in the world could pull this off within intimate relationships. The voices would be different, the word choices and mannerisims. But who cares, it's a great yarn. One dissatisfaction: the ending goes on too long, a common occurrence for me. But a great read.

... morehe number 3, I quickly requested the first two books. Having started the second book I think it is important to read this series in order. This book is quite interesting but I can't help wondering how accurate it is. The main character had trained as a doctor (I didn't think they used that title much in the UK), became a psychiatrist and then finally a psychoanalyst. In the US in recent years that would be a highly unlikely career path. less

Leest vlot en het thema klinkt niet al te bekend. Maar toch is er een zekere voorspelbaarheid.
