review 1: The quote on he back says "even more gripping than blue Monday" and I would definitely agree. I enjoyed blue Monday bu it did feel very much like it was settin the scene and the story really picked up in Tuesday's gone. A dead body is found in a woman's flat. The owner of the flat has mental health problems and the police struggle to get any sense out of her so call in Friedan Klein to assist them. When Frieda manages to give the police a name for the victim the possible list of murderers is large as he was a conman. An excellent book but not to be read before the first one as thre are many spoilers.
review 2: This was just OK. I was definitely not as absorbed with this one as I was with the first, which is very disappointing as I was looking forward to th
... moreis. Frieda is still good, as is the cop, but it just doesn't pull you in as much. Probably because you don't really care about the characters involved and it's somewhat convoluted. Who cares if the con man is dead? It's also pretty obvious about half way through who is really behind it, although I have to admit you can't quite pin point why until towards the end ... and even then it has to be explained to you. Creepiest bit about the whole story was the ever-present character from book #1 (which I won't mention to those of you who have yet to read it). less
