Frieda Klein
review 1: Psychologist Frieda Klein gets involved with a murder case where a wife and mother with a seemingly quiet life is murdered in the middle of the day. Was is just a burglary gone bad? Another plot line is followed, with Frieda and a journalist on the trail of a serial killer; here the connections seem much more attenuated. If this book had been only about the first murder I would have liked it better. The subplot seemed a little forced. Still it was an enjoyable and suspenseful read.
review 2: I was really quite surprised by this entire series, I was just looking for something to read and came across this. But I am very impressed, Frieda is very intriguing character. And this book ended on a note that makes you wonder where Frieda's state of mind. Your get v
... moreery attached to her, I suppose its the way that she is so closed off and leaves a lot to the imagination. You only get glimpses and its hard to put the pieces together. I can't wait to see where this series goes and to learn more about Frieda as a person, and hopefully resolve her demons. less
