review 1: This is a brilliant read what a great series of books. It captures all the best there is in Science Fiction Fantasy and adds a parallel to today's religious divides and political differences. What a masterful piece of writing with the 3rd book leaving you hang, literally. When I finished the last book I found myself madly searching to download the next only to find I had to wait a very long 12 months before it was released. This series highly recommended.
review 2: I really like this book. For a while now I've been reading a lot of science-fiction and fantasy but seem to be geared more toward young adults. this book seems to combine all I love about fantasy and sci-fi without the attempt to exploit emotions. The author doesn't give The reader cookie-cutter pred... moreictable storyline where the good guy gets the girl and everything turns out alright. For most books in the end you kind of know that everything will work out one where the other. With this book though anything could happen. less
