review 1: This is the first book by Sudha Murty that I've read. It is a collection of short stories, real stories from her life. Each story is simply narrated and drives home a message. I think this book makes for a great read for children. She generously shares experiences good and bad from her own life. My favorite story was the one about shraddha ritual of her father and the first story of a runaway girl in the train. Simple, meaningful writing that will appeal to all. An immensely satisfying read!
