review 1: A few of these stories only barely qualify as steampunk (some are more like regular fantasy with a few clocks and gears thrown in), and it would have been nice for some of the romances to not be M/F, but otherwise I really enjoyed this! I was only familiar with one of the authors previously (Ann Aguirre) but I was impressed with all of them. A couple of the stories took a little bit to get me interested, but every time that happened I was glad I kept going, because they all ended up being satisfying.
review 2: this is an amazing collection.of short stories!! although i don t have enough reference to compare it to -these stories are pretty much my first dive in the awesome world of steampunk- i was really captivated by most of the stories! 4 stars go just becaus... moree the couple of stories that felt a little bit too much... too cheesy! but all in all it definetely worths ur time and money! it is a really good introduction to this genre! less
