review 1: I really liked the romance between Allie and Rick, The mystery was great, a little creepy though and could have flowed a little better but there was nothing that would make me not want to read it again, it was still a good book and id re-read the series over again. The overall story of how Allie and Rick came together was wonderful. The way he chose to love first is really great. Everything with Ricks past coming out and how Allie reacted was a little rushed but still good! Colleen Coble is still one of my favorite authors.
review 2: This book was similar to book 3, which I read first in the series. In both, the woman is being chased by someone but we don't know whom or why. Both women marry a man they don't know and eventually fall in love. Then they get marr... moreied in a "real" ceremony. They both have daughters. Now I'm reading book #2 and again, there is a woman being chased by someone we don't know, and why, we don't know. She also has a daughter and is about to marry someone she barely knows. Hmm. I know it's a series, but they don't have to all have the same plot. Isn't it weird that in the town of Bluebird Crossing, TX, there are three couples who all married out of convenience and then fell in love and now they're all friends? It's a little bit of a stretch. less
