Peter and the Starcatchers
review 1: I thought it was amazing. I was sad because they made Molly, George, James, Prentiss, Thomas, Tubby Ted, and Leonard much older. I was especially sad because Leonard Aster died. I wasn't surprised Molly married George. At the end when Peter was leaving England, I didn't understand why Wendy was so upset over Peter leaving because she didn't know him as much as Molly had when they were the same age. At the end when Peter was knocking on the window, I wanted to read more! The authors should have written a 5th book!
review 2: Molly and George Darling live in London with their three children, Wendy, John and Michael. The Starcatchers have pretty much disbanded since they destroyed Lord Ombra. That and starstuff has not fallen to earth for twenty years. Men have b
... moreeen disappearing in the Underground. James, now a grown man, becomes suspicious - he recognizes a man who is now the soon-to-be-crowned-king's chief advisor. He can only think to go find Molly and express his fears. He does. When Molly tells George he has no interest in the whole situation - he'd put the past firmly behind him. So Molly goes out on her own, first to the police (who are more than useless) then to her father's home. Soon Molly finds herself locked in a wretched cell watching men (among them James) shuffling past her cell every night. Starved. Filthy. Barely alive. She is certain she was right, telling Wendy the whole story.Wendy, realizing things are wrong, knows her only hope is to find the flying boy - Peter. With the help of another former "Lost Boy", she finds Ammm who helps her find her way to the Island. To Peter. This story is stuffed with magical swords, chests of starstuff, hidden tunnels, Mr Skeleton, frustrated pirates and murderous lackeys, flying trains and flapping winged machines, explosive flour, eccentric uncles. and lots of chases. Not to mention Lord Ombra - sort of. Find a comfy corner with some decent light and a cosy comforter and travel along with old friends (and make some new ones along the way)! Enjoy. I'm on to the next - will it be the last? - installment. less

Not a bad. It took me awhile to read. I had no problem putting this book down.

Just not what I was in the mood for. May come back to it at some point.
