review 1: I was sad to finish this one as this has been a great , fun series to read and I had grown to become quite attached to Kate, Derek, Barabas and crew. Lots of different mythologies were mixed into a fast paced, action packed series with nice twists on some of the more common paranormal creatures. This book managed to tie up a lot of the story arcs from the series so far, but left that window open for future installments which I hope will be coming. If you are a fan of urban fantasy with kick ass heroines, READ THIS SERIES NOW!
review 2: The only bad thing about this series is that I read the books so quickly and then have to wait for the next one! Kate has to be one of my favorite heroines. While I would have loved to have more interaction between her and Curr... morean in this book, I love watching how Kate handles things on her own. She is tough enough and smart enough to handle things in her own way, a way which most people don't think about let alone do. She is smart, strong, and kick ass. Everything a great lead woman character can be. less
