review 1: DUST AND DECAY is a fantastic follow up novel to ROT AND RUIN. The novel has all the good things the first one did and more. I enjoyed the entire ride and was never let down during the entire story. This series is wonderful for adults and young adults alike. I recommend it to my students. There are a few curse words and some violence; it is a zombie story after all. However, the quality of the work and the excitement it generates in the reader makes the entire story very enjoyable.

... morected by Tom's death. It did nothing for me. Unfortunately Tom's death was insinuated WAAAAAYYYYY too many times before it actually happened. I knew he was going to be killed off, and by the time he was I had already processed his death like 5 times at least. So unfortunately while Tom probably deserved more emotion from me, it just did't happen. less
