review 1: This was the first in a series, written by a British husband and wife team. I am such an anglophile that I looked forward to the read. Fridea Klein, the book's main character, is a tad difficult to like as she is a rather withdrawn, orderly, insomniac. Wait a minute, I could be discribing myself! I read the last 2 hours of the book from 3 to 5 am this morning! Though it was enjoyable, and I will read others, I believe I prefer English Victorian mysteries.
