review 1: i'm a tiny bit tired of this series, only in that the main character has some very erratic behaviour that isn't always explained (or admired). will she be diagnosed aspergers as we go along? honestly, i can't figure her out. That said, the book is lovely, small characters have big stories, and big characters have small stories. maybe Josef and Reuben will be in rehab by the next book; there is no small amount of alcohol being consumed here ...
review 2: Instead of rehashing the plot, let me simply say that in this novel Frieda Klein finally reveals and deals with some of her own skeletons in the closet, which are brought to the fore by a parallel between her own story and that of a young patient. She shares her experiences with her friends, and yes, she finall
... morey confides in Sandy, BUT... (no, I'll leave it for you to discover). I was a little harsh in my review of the previous novel, but this is in fact a pretty good series. 3.5*** less

Enjoyable, but not as good as the previous 3 Frieda Klein novels.
