review 1: 26.11.2014 - 4*oh my, tak dobře jsem se už dlouho nebavila. Klasická fantasy, kdy každá věc má vlastního duši. A jak je to zpracované! A ty scény, které autorka napsala, její styl psaní mi sedl a její vtip... nice. :)) Eli Monpress je ta z postav, kterou si okamžitě zamilujete, šarmantní parchant, ale miláček. Děj, well, zamotaný, ne linka století, ale udržela mě u knihy. I když za to mohlo spíše psaní. Je to zvláštní směska klišé a neuvěřitelné originality a těším se, až svět poznám trochu více. :))
review 2: A fun and light read, reminds of Pier Anthony's style. The magic style described here is mixed with several "elements" some of which will probably be detailed in later books.The characters aren't too deep and ... moremostly predictable but still fun to read.The pace of the book is good, and makes you want to pick up the next book,. Hopefully the weak point of the book which are the characters will be handled better in the next one. less
