It looks like an Indian summer is in the making but one thing I’ve learned living in southwest Colorado is you can’t predict the weather. Second hunting season has just ended and soon the ski area will open, that’s if we get any snow. I love the fall in Pagosa, golden Aspens, red Gamble Oak and the smell of winter in the air. I’m always sad to see summer leave but I’m amazed at how the cool air makes me feel. It’s a welcome relief from the heat and for some reason the sky looks bluer. I love where I live!
