October Daye
review 1: Book 3 in the October Daye series. Starts to have some development tying the individual books together into a wider series, and I absolutely couldn't put this one down, much to my OH's disgust when I ignored him reading it whilst cooking, eating and spending an evening together where he was hoping I'd be sociable! Sorry about that! In fact, the previous books had the same issue, which you may like to take as a recommendation!
review 2: You know, I am finding these books to be enjoyable, despite the plot holes, general inability to believe (even in context) the events and the general unlikableness of October Daye herself. She's a bit of a whining thoughtless twit. Brave and adventuresome, sure, but still. I find myself liking all of the characters around her
... moreTONS more than "Toby" herself. Still, an enjoyable book and better than the first two. less
