review 1: This book was published in the US as "Lost" and what a book it is. I recently discovered SJ Bolton and now I can't get enough of her! Thrilling murder mysteries set in London, England, they pull you right in to the minds of the killers and the police alike. Word of caution however - reading her book "Now You See Me" first is definitely recommended. While it is definitely not necessary, it would spoil a few plot twists/shockers that are in "Now You See Me" if you read this first!
review 2: I have really enjoyed the other Lacey Flint books and was looking forward to reading this latest offering but I was a little disappointed. Due to the events of the previous book Lacey is not really in this book and not as an officially serving police officer either, for this r... moreeason I would say that these books do need to be read in order. I felt that there was something missing from these books due to the fact that Flint did not feature much. The plot was a good plot with a few twists and turns in it but I did find that this one was a lot more obvious than the other books have been, and again I was disappointed by this. The other books I could not stop reading them but with this one it was hard to get into and seemed to drag a bit. The basic plot and characters were good and it was all neatly tied up at the end but do not read these as your first book by S. J. Bolton as I doubt you will read any others. less
