review 1: I think it helps to read this series in order. This is the third in the Lacey Flint series, and although I read the 4th one first I have enjoyed the others much more by reading them in order as the characters' stories build book by book. In Lost, young boys have been killed and the hunt is on before another child loses his life. I would love to reread this story to see how the clues led to the capture since I went down so many wrong paths. this is an interesting series, and I look forward to the 5th addition.
review 2: At the risk of sounding dramatic, this is THE crime novel of my life. I still can't believe I stayed up till 230 am the day before my exam just cos I couldn't put it down. I just couldn't. As the events unfurl, it was like watching a team of peop... morele tossing a ball back and forth continuously. One minute the suspect was him, then you weren't so sure because the other him looked more suspicious. Hang on, could it be him?? Goodness me it was her?! Or not... Eventually you just give up, submit to your fears and let the writer take you to your darkest imagination. Like this forever is WICKED. You won't regret this read. less
