review 1: This Sherlock Holmes story was one of my favorites. And the main bad guy Professor James Moriarty he is the archenemy of Sherlock, Just think about for a second. You have the world's greatest criminal mastermind of london against the world's greatest detective of london sparks are defintely going to fly between these two. As I always say there has never been a case that Sherlock and Watson can not crack wide open, It's all elementary,my friends.
review 2: I'll always appreciate the depth of Sherlock's metaphorical description of Moriarty's organizations: the "Spider" may have woven the most massive web of interlocking deceit and crime that that fictional Europe may ever know, but it is Sherlock who is truly entangled in the conniving labyrinth. He is trapped, o... moren both physical and emotional sides, by Moriarty's complementary cleverness, and he is hindered by his arachnophobic anxiety of competition that ultimately forces his (falsifiable) demise. less
