review 1: The throne of atlantis directly followed up volume two, replacing black manta with aquamans brother, ocean master. In this story (that ties into the justice league book) aquaman must stop an invasion of his people coming from the depths, lead by ocean master. The book has a lot of cool visuals of new york flooding and very intense battle scenes with some great dialogue. I'd have anyone read it who enjoys the hero, and wants to see some cool fights.

The completist in me got both trade paperbacks, but others may want to give it more thought that I did. The two issues of Aquaman leading up to a Throne of Atlantis are mighty good and lay all the groundwork for the conflict that follows. less

Do not start a war against Aquaman and the Justice League. it is just a bad idea.
