review 1: this book reminded me of Kiss the Girls by James Patterson where the culprit collects beautiful girls & was actually part of the investigating team. The story had a slow start but the pacing picked up later on. What I liked best was the twist regarding Agent Dees daughter, Katy. I thought she was the Katy who was inside with Lainey so when Picasso dragged her out to kill her I kept hoping he will change his mind & not kill her because I didn't want Agent Dees to be devastated with his daughter's death! And when they found the body & confirmed it was not Katy Dees, I thought Picasso must have changed his mind & changed his victim because he liked Katy. It was a nice surprise to find out in the end that the girl was a different Katy.
review 2: A well thought out
... moretrue and thought-provoking novel about the dangers of the internet and the creeps that lurk below the surface. Before she disappeared on Friday evening, 13 year old Lainey had been communicating with a hot guy from the local high school. Of course everything is not what it seems when she goes to meet him without telling a soul. Bobby Dees races against the clock to find the missing girl who many have pegged as a runaway. Bobby is also struggling with the disappearance of his own daughter a year earlier. It's pretty dark but I really enjoyed the book. The identity of the killer was pretty easy to guess but it was a great ride nonetheless less
