review 1: My name is Claire Milles and I, read this book. Actually I read the whole series and loved them all. Tom, is my favorite character and always will be. I really was surprised by how tought Benny has gotten. Chong is my next favorite character. Chong and Lilah together are like....YASSSS. I really love them together. I am very happy Mrs. Tonelli recommended this series. I finished all four books. I began reading in August and finished all the books in November. I love the plot line that is in here. I honestly think that Tom should have lived, but i'm not the author. I also loved all the bad guys, they were very evil. I like that tom doesn't reanimate into a zombie, he just dies (sadly). I recommend this book to anyone who loves horror, zombies, love, romance, and action. Thi... mores books has a lot of feels in it, I cried a lot. Jonathan Maberry is a excellent writer.
review 2: The mighty conclusion to the Rot and Ruin series. Maberry has created a terrific world of zombies, religious fanatics, desperadoes and the regular people who wish to find a cure to the awful zombie virus. This entire series revolves around Benny Imura and his cohort of "Warrior Smart" samurai, a ragtag group of older teens who have grown up quickly in the awful world of the Rot and Ruin. I've thoroughly enjoyed every one of these books. A bit of language and lots of violence. less

A very clever way to end the series. I'll miss reading about what happens with the Samurais.
