review 1: I enjoyed this book, #18 in the Aunt Dimity mystery series, but thought the ending a little too pat. But the descriptions of all the historic houses visited by Lori and Bree in their quest to find the Lost Prince and the continued development of character were most satisfying. I have come to the end of the series (I read #19 before I read any others in the series!) and will have to wait for #20 to be published. It's been a fun read! However, it's time to move on to mysteries with a little more edge, a little less cozy, and even with a corpse or two!
review 2: Not exactly a cozy english mystery - but still a fun few hours of distraction. Lori Shepard is a busy body with an over active imagination. This leads to her meeting some great characters. She must h... moreave a heart of gold or something to get along so well with everyone. She is discovered lurking in a garden peering into windows, instead of being run off, she makes a new friend. I like her and the books. complete works of fiction with all the cliches of an english village thrown in and still fun to read. less
