review 1: Another solid entry in the series that left me a little disappointed with some of the subplots, such as abandoning Jesse to be "protected" by Gabriel and the cliche single-mom-no-money-needs-husband-to-save-her thing going on with Tony and Sylvia. Overall, Mercy continues to be a strong, awesome female character but some of the minor female characters come off as week and helpless, which is very lame.
review 2: An urban fantasy about protecting the weak, loyalty, and doing the right thing. Mercy is formidable and takes more of a leadership role. The plot has danger, unexpected twists, and fantastic characters. I enjoyed seeing some of Adam's perspective, learning more about pack bonds, and seeing familiar characters (Asil from the Alpha and Omega series, and Th... moreomas Hao from the short story "Fairy Gifts"). less
