review 1: I read some reviews before starting this book, so I was prepared for some kind of crazy twist about 75% of the way through, but I really didn't think it was so unexpected. After all this is a a sci-fi book. But I will say this is one of the most unique books I have read in a long time. It has a YA feel for sure, but it was still enjoyable. I'm still not sure how I feel about the ending, and with the sequel following a different main character I don't know if my questions will be answered to my satisfaction.
review 2: Ultraviolet is simply amazing! The way you think If things as simple and ordinary becomes twisted up as Alison attempts to make sense of who she really is, and what she did to deserve everything. She simply changes the way you look at the world and
... more adds more contrast to life. From beginning to end I was caught up in the colours of this book. Certainly a page turner, I could read it a million times and the pages would still come to life. I adore the optional ending though! Simply and amazing read and hands down to the author! Couldn't possibly have been a more lively book! less
