review 1: Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! So gutted that there isn't a sequel. Happy for Rachel and Theo though. Theo seems like a really good guy and I am glad that Rachel has got much more confident. I am definitely in love with Sophie McKenzie's books right now. Gonna read Sister, Missing soon and Missing me (the sequel to Sister, Missing) has just come out so hopefull that should be good to!! For anyone who hasn't read the prequel, it's Blood Ties. It is an amazing book, even better than this one (unbelievable isn't it?). It's a definite must-read!!
review 2: I was so glad when i found out that Mckenzie did a sequel for Blood ties, i liked the first book when i read it years before and so i thought i just had to read this one to see what happened to clones Theo and Rachel. ... moreI was glad that Rachel finally got some backbone in this book and did some ass-kicking for herself. I think Theo also grew more as well through this book, and i liked how at the end they both stuck up for themselves. I was upset to learn that Daniel had died, and the awful experiments that Elijah had hidden away made my skin crawl. The book ended too soon for me, but i suppose thats always how i feel when there are characters i really care about in a book/series. less
