review 1: So good! If you're in anyway a baby when it comes to scary books, and I am, read only during daylight hours as this middle grade book really has some scares. Also, I realized when reading it, how refreshing it is to not have a book be about romance. The characters are fully realized and the setting is decidedly creepy. I worked out the mystery pretty early on, but it didn't make my enjoyment any less.
review 2: AMAZING!!! For someone who isn't big on the Horror genre, this book was just perfect for me, with sarcastic humor, and tons of action that kept my heart pounding through the entire thing. A must-read!!! The characters are wonderful, plot-line was exciting, I've read this four times already, and it still grabs me from page one.
