review 1: Virginal teacher Amy takes up job as exotic dancer — call her Angel — following in footsteps of sister who disappeared. She meets PI John Riggs, 6 feet of alpha male. Of course she's a petit blonde. Can we say cliche?Oh, yeah, missing sister had soft spot for kids and charities - the stripper with the heart of gold.Johnnie agrees to help Amy, and each knows they're right for each other, but hey it's just sex. They go at it like bunnies almost immediately.Somewhere along the line, they find the sister and some bad guys. What happened to the sister is pretty horrible, but it gets glossed over to focus on the "anguish" Johnnie and Amy feel about going back to their pre-sex, pre-couple lives.Yes. there is such a thing as too much sex — if leads to too little story, the bi... moreggest problem with this book.
review 2: This is the best one so far, lots of drama. I’ve always liked a hero/heroine combination that puts a strong, alpha male who likes to be in charge, (Johnnie Riggs) falling for a quiet, sort of shy and in this case, a nice kindergarten teacher, Amy. They track a lot of different leads, we’re introduced to many people, many potential enemies and Johnnie calls in some help in the form of old friends and new to try and find her sister, Rachael. But Johnnie & Amy wait until the very end to admit their love - that seemed a little to drawn out.Like that Rachael meets up with Rick in the end. Good read less
