review 1: This is 3.5 stars and I probably would have rated this 4 stars had I not read Waiting for Wednesday first which completely ruined the ending of this book for me. I loved the mystery behind the book but I feel ultimately how Frieda caught the killers with the pictures was a little far fetched and didn't really make much sense to me. Otherwise, the book was enjoyable and flowed well. I'm still intrigued as to why Frieda is estranged from her family and I am sure the author will touch on it more in future books.
review 2: I actually enjoyed the second instalment better than the first. When the police are called about a dead body who has been sat on the sofa belonging to a mentally disturbed woman for a couple of weeks, Frieda is called in to help figure out how h... moree got there. She uncovers many twists and turns and eventually the mystery becomes more of a mystery until she figures it all out at the end. Although I'm not entirely sure her role is very believable, it's been set up rather nicely for book three which I can't wait to read! less
